San Salvador, Feb 3 (EFE) - Until not long ago in El Salvador the entrance to some neighborhoods was forbidden, controlled by gangs or "maras" that established their law. But the state of exception imposed almost two years ago by President Nayib Bukele, who is running for re-election this Sunday, put an end to the violence in one fell swoop, while the population's "fear" of the security forces for their arbitrary arrests increased.FOOTAGE: RESOURCES FROM THE STREETS OF EL SALVADOR AND THE ARMED FORCES.CAMERA: CARLOS LEMOS.
