Farmers start olive harvest in Nice

Nice (France), Nov 6 (EFE/EPA).- Maison Nicolas Alziari, on the French Riviera, is making progress in harvesting Nicoise olives on its 60 hectares of olive groves.

This variety, also called Cailletier, grows on land between Cannes and Menton, and is valued for producing 100% Nicoise oil.

Local farmers highlight the quality of this olive, emblem of the region, as they display the freshly harvested fruit on their farms in Nice.
