Farmers gather in Munich to protest subsidy cuts

Munich, Jan 8 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Anna Szilagyi) Thousands of German farmers on Monday took part in protests throughout the country against the cuts in agricultural subsidies by the government.

Truck drivers cut roads and highways in regions such as Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony (north) or Saxony (east).
