Families of detainees seek to defend themselves in the face of inaction by Salvadoran Attorney General's Office

San Salvador, Apr 25 (EFE).- A group of relatives of people detained under the emergency regime in El Salvador, in force since March 2022 and implemented as a measure to combat gangs, asked the Attorney General's Office on Thursday to conduct proceedings on behalf of their relatives in the face of the “absence of defense” of the Attorney General's Office (PGR).
