Faithful celebrate the day when Buddha gave the first sermon on the essence of religion

Pathum Thani (Thailand), February 24 (EFE).- Thousands of Buddhist devotees celebrated this Saturday the day of Makha Bucha, at the Wat Phra Dhammakaya temple, a date that commemorates the day on which Buddha gave the first sermon on what would be the essence of Buddhism to1,250 disciple monks gathered spontaneously.
