European Commission fines Apple 1.84 billion for obstructing competition to its music service

Brussels (Belgium), Mar 4 (EFE) - The European Commission (EC) announced Monday a fine of 1.84 billion euros to the technology giant Apple for imposing restrictions from the App Store to competitors of its music streaming service, such as Spotify, which in practice prevented them from informing iPhone and iPad users about cheaper music subscription options outside the application.
