Emory University in Atlanta moves its graduation due to pro-Palestinian protests

Georgia (US), May 6 (EFE). - The American Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, decided to move its graduation ceremony off campus due to pro-Palestinian protests that have emerged in the university environment.

The president of the educational institution, Gregory Fenves, announced that graduation ceremonies will be held off campus for the safety of students and staff.

Students and activists from all over the country have been protesting for several weeks against the investments of colleges and universities in Israel and expressing their opinion against the Gaza conflict.
