Eladio Dieste, the brick artist approaching World Heritage

Atlántida (Uruguay), July 23 (EFE), (Camera: Alejandro Prieto and Raúl Martínez).- Demonstrating that brick can be a work of art was the maxim of Eladio Dieste, the Uruguayan engineer whose 'Faculty of Architecture' was a breakthrough church for a humble community that, unknowingly, gave it 60 years later a ticket down the stretch to be designated a World Heritage Site.
