Ecuador's outgoing and elected presidents initiate an "orderly" transition

Quito, Oct 17 (EFE).- Ecuador's President Guillermo Lasso and President-elect Daniel Noboa met for the first time on Tuesday at the Carondelet presidential palace to begin a transition that will take the winner of the elections to a short term in office, until May 2025.
