Ecuadorians demand review of mining concessions in Chocó Andino reserve

Quito, Aug 17 (EFE) - Residents and activists in the Chocó Andino, a biosphere reserve located near the Ecuadorian capital, have demanded that the state review mining concessions in the territory, in compliance with a national referendum a year ago that banned metal mining in the area.
