Eastern India celebrates Holi festival 2024

Kolkata, Mar 25 (EFE/EPA).- Several people in Kolkata, Eastern India celebrated Holi festival on Monday.

Holi festival, also known as the Festival of Colours was an ancient Hindu festival which symbolized the victory of good over evil, and marked the arrival of Spring.

It is observed with joyful gatherings during which revelers cover each other in colored powders. (Camera: PIYAL ADHIKARY).
