‘Dragon Ball’ creator Akira Toriyama dies at 68

Tokyo, Mar 8 (EFE/EPA).- Japanese manga artist Akira Toriyama, the creator of hugely popular “Dragon Ball” comics and anime cartoons, has died of an acute stroke, his production group said on Friday. He was 68.

"We are deeply saddened to inform you that manga creator Akira Toriyama passed away on March 1st due to acute subdural hematoma," said a statement from Bird Studio. (Camera: FRANCK ROBICHON).
