Dozens protest outside gov't house in Bangkok over price hikes

Bangkok, Jan 18 (EFE/EPA).- Dozens of people staged a protest Tuesday outside the Government House in Bangkok against the rising prices of consumer goods.

Protesters called on the government to reduce VAT, fare of public trains of BTS and MRT and children tuition fees, as well as to increase subsidies for the elderly and the handicapped. (Camera: NARONG SANGNAK).
