Doña Sofía presides over disembarkation of Legion and transfer of Christ of Mena in Malaga | Video

Malaga (Spain), Mar 28 (EFE), (Camera: Esther Gómez) - Queen Sofia presided over the traditional landing of the Legion in the Port of Malaga this Thursday, which once again came to its appointment with the Malaga Holy Week to star in one of the most emblematic moments of this festival: the transfer of the Christ of the Good Death and Souls, head of the Brotherhood of Mena, to its brotherhood house.

In spite of the rain and the wind, thousands of people came to the port to welcome the members of the Legion's Don Juan de Austria Tercio, who arrived in Malaga just before ten o'clock in the morning on board the Spanish Navy ship 'Contramaestre Casado'.
