Nairobi (Kenya), Mar 20 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Daniel Irungu) Health workers demonstrated Wednesday outside the Ministry of Health offices in Nairobi against the Kenyan government's failure to allocate funds for Universal Health Care (UHC) to transition staff from a four-year contract to permanent and pensionable conditions, among other grievances. The protest comes as the boycott by Kenyan doctors also enters its sixth day, as they accuse the government of failing to address their demands, including a demand to allocate 4,000 interns to medical facilities.
