DiCaprio praises Scorsese's work, describes him as "singular director of our time"

Cannes, May 21 (EFE).- Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, triumphed Sunday in Cannes with the film "Killers of the Flower Moon", in which they apologized for the abuses committed against the native americans, personified in the film as the Osage people.

In the presence of the Osage chief, Geoffrey Standing Bear, who thanked Scorsese and his team for restoring his people's trust in white men, Scorsese praised the culture of this Native American tribe which suffered a series of organized murders in the 1920s by a group of unscrupulous people who wanted to steal the title deeds of their oil-rich lands.
