Devotees observe feast day of Saint John the Baptist in Philippines

Bibiclat, Jun 24 (EFE/EPA).- Catholic devotees in Philippines observed on Monday the feast day of Saint John the Baptist with ritual and holy mass.

Devotees covered in mud and dried leaves gathered early morning for the ritual of the 'Taong Putik' (Mud People) before attending a holy mass to honor Saint John the Baptist. (Camera: ROLEX DELA PENA).
