US demonstrators hold rally in support of Palestine | Video

New York, Jun 18 (EFE/EPA).- Demonstrators from the "Summer of Heat on Wall Street" protest group on Tuesday showed their support for Palestine and opposed Citi's contributions to fossil fuel projects that fuel the war at Citigroup Headquarters in New York.

According to the group, it has planned a months-long campaign of protesting big Wall Street corporations to stop the funding of fossil fuel projects that are driving the climate crisis.

Citi released a statement that said, "As the only American bank in the country, we are proud to support Israeli clients as well as multinational companies who do business there. In addition, any financing of military equipment must follow our environmental and social risk management policy." (Camera: SARAH YENESEL).
