New Delhi faces lack of water supply amid high temperatures

New Delhi, May 15 (EFE/EPA) - New Delhi residents are facing a lack of piped water supply and, as a result, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has supplied water tankers so that locals can fill their jerry cans and demijohns twice a day to meet their needs.

Many parts of the country are suffering the consequences of the heat, while thermometers in New Delhi have hit 42 degrees.
