Montevideo, Apr 9 (EFE) .- (Camera: Álex Gutiérrez Páez) Historically considered one of the most popular traditions of the countryside, the gaucho horseback rides are stirring up a controversial debate in Uruguay today, where their followers support them as equestrian sport and activists are calling for their abolition as animal abuse.
