Debate on trips of European Parliament to Strasbourg in face of energy crisis

Brussels (Belgium), Aug 25 (EFE).- (Camera: Leo Rodríguez) Some 20,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year, 350,000 additional square meters to heat and light and hundreds of vehicles to transport more than 3,000 people and the resignation to a saving of 114 million euros: these are the figures for the monthly trip of the European Parliament to France for its plenary sessions, an expense and environmental impact that the energy crisis once again calls into question.
