Deaths from Typhoon Doksuri rise to 13 in Philippines

San Mateo village, Jul 28 (EFE/EPA).- At least 13 people died due to Typhoon Doksuri’s passage through the Philippines, which on Friday reached China, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

The typhoon, called Egay in the Philippines, hit the north of the island of Luzon, where the capital Manila is located, earlier this week with violent winds and heavy rains that caused floods and landslides before leaving the country’s surveillance zone Thursday night. (Camera: ROLEX DELA PENA).
