Death toll in protests against Kenyan tax hikes rises to 23

Nairobi (Kenya), Jun 26 (EFE/EPA) - At least 23 people were shot dead by police in mass protests on Tuesday in different Kenyan cities against a bill that provides for tax hikes, mobilizations unprecedented in the recent history of the country, confirmed Wednesday a score of NGOs.
