Dakar rally, a moving city in the desert

Shubaytah, Saudi Arabia, January 12 (EFE).- (Camera: Carlos Rosique) Six charter planes, twelve helicopters and dozens of trucks travel the highways and national roads of Saudi Arabia every day so that almost 3,000 people, including drivers, mechanics and journalists can only focus on work during Dakar Rally.

Guillaume Kleszcz, head of productions and broadcast Services at ASO– organizer of the event–, told EFE that the rally's logistics is "very complex".
