Czech Industry Minister welcomes EU gas price cap | Video

Brussels (Belgium), Dec 19 (EFE).- The countries of the European Union reached an agreement today to establish a price cap for gas imports at 180 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh) in wholesale futures contracts starting next February 15.

The agreement went ahead with the vote against Hungary, the abstentions of the Netherlands and Austria and the votes in favor of the rest of the Member States in a negotiation developed in the twelfth council of Energy Ministers of the year.
