Cruise ship hit by hantavirus outbreak weighs docking in the Canary Islands

Vlissingen (Netherlands), May 4 (EFE/EPA). - The cruise ship in the Atlantic affected by a hantavirus outbreak that may have caused the deaths of three people is considering the possibility of docking in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or Tenerife to conduct further medical examinations there, after Cape Verde denied the ship entry to protect “national public safety.”
