Covid and anemia, works recognized in health journalism award in Peru

Lima, Apr 12 (EFE) - The first Health Journalism Award in Peru, organized by Roche in collaboration with the Efe Agency, awarded this Tuesday the works of Jorge Dett, Estefany Luján and Luis Paucar, written for the local media Latina and La República, respectively, in a ceremony held in Lima to encourage and recognize quality health journalism in the country.

"I hope that this award will be the first stone on a path that will give prestige and relevance to health journalism," said the director of Efe Salud and president of the jury, Javier Tovar, at the Spanish Center in the Peruvian capital, where he hoped that this first edition "will be the germ of something that will grow and progress for better health and better information."
