Consumer prices rise in Indonesia as inflation reaches 3.05% year-on-year

Jakarta, Apr 1 (EFE/EPA).- Indonesia experienced a year-on-year inflation rate of 3.05 percent in March, up from 2.75 percent the previous month, the country's Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported.

This rise in inflation reflects the continuing economic challenges facing the Southeast Asian nation, affecting prices for consumers shopping for everyday items such as clothing in Jakarta's shopping malls and other necessities across the country.
