US congresswoman says to Guatemalan president he has time to protect democracy

Guatemala City, Dec 8 (EFE).- US congresswoman Norma Torres said on Friday that the Guatemalan president Alejandro Giammattei has time to stop the situation in the country after the Prosecutor's office requested that this year's elections be annulled, in which Bernardo Arévalo de León was elected as his successor starting on 14th January.
