EU conference on Ecuador crisis aims to create police for its prisons

Quito, Mar 8 (EFE).- The approval of a law to speed up the seizure of assets from criminal economies and the creation of a prison police force are among the main conclusions of the second International Consensus Conference for Penitentiary and Citizen Security in Ecuador, where national authorities and international experts discussed solutions to the crisis faced by the Andean country.
