"Colonia Dogtores", a shelter for stray dogs in central Mexico

Puebla, Jun 25 (EFE).- The "Colonia Dogtores", a project that simulates a neighborhood of rescued animals, gives hope of life to stray dogs in Puebla, in central Mexico.

The project began in 2020 in the municipality of Tehuacán with the construction of wooden houses and tin roofs so that the dogs would have a home and a second chance at life without violence. (Camera: GABRIELA GARCÍA GUZMÁN).
