Colombian filmmaker Gaviria holds workshop-seminar on filmmaking in Mexico

Mexico City, Jul 19 (EFE).- Colombian filmmaker Víctor Gaviria began his work Monday with film students from the popular neighborhood of Iztapalapa in Mexico City with the "Cinema of Reality" workshop-seminar, a space in which he expands his experience in the seventh art.

“I was surprised. These are neighborhood kids similar to those in Medellín or Bogotá,” Gaviria told Efe at a press conference before he was awarded the Medalla Cineteca Nacional in Mexico City. (Camera: AMÉRICA NERI).
