Colombian conflict-ravaged ancestral knowledge is recovered through bullerengue rhythm

María La Baja (Colombia), Dec 13 (EFE) - Adriana Martínez recalls that every December, during the Bullerengue Festival in María La Baja, a small Colombian village in the Montes de María, all the street corners were full of music and skirts fluttering to the rhythm of this Caribbean rhythm. The music continues but the traditions have been diluted with the impact of the conflict and the loss of cultural identity among young people.
