Citizens' group pushes for vote on tourist apartments in Lisbon

Lisbon, Jul 26 (EFE).- Lisbon was getting closer to holding a vote against tourist apartments in residential areas on Friday.

This effort was led by a citizens' group that had already collected enough signatures. Their goal was to make housing for residents again.

In some neighborhoods, more than half of the homes were used for tourist rentals. Concerned about this, a group of citizens started the Housing Referendum Movement in 2022. (Camera: PAULA FERNÁNDEZ).
