Beijing, Mar 5 (EFE/EPA).- The second session of China's 14th National People's Congress (NPC) began with its opening ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China, on Tuesday.

This event marks the beginning of China's annual major political meetings, the NPC and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), collectively known as the "Lianghui" or "Two Sessions".
