Beijing, May 19 (EFE/EPA).- Since Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin declared their “no limits friendship” in Beijing in February 2022, relations between the two powers have been shaped by the war in Ukraine, Western sanctions, a surge in energy cooperation, and growing strategic coordination.During this period, Putin has visited China four times and will travel there for a fifth visit on Tuesday to mark the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation between the two countries, against the backdrop of the ongoing crisis following the outbreak of the Iran-Israel war. The visit highlights key milestones in an increasingly close and complex relationship.
