China reports 60,000 deaths related to COVID-19

Jilin/ Beijing, Jan 15 (EFE/EPA).- China's National Health Commission has announced a total of 59,938 Covid-related deaths between Dec. 8, when authorities began easing pandemic restrictions, and Jan. 12 this year.

According to agency officials, the average age of those who died at medical facilities was 80.3 years old. (Camera: MARK R. CRISTINO).
