China lifts Covid-19 testing requirement for international travellers

Beijing, Aug 31 (EFE/EPA).- China has removed Covid-19 antigen or nucleic acid testing requirements for all international travellers entering the country.

The new protocols, effective 30 August 2023, were unveiled by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin.

The move marks a possible change in China's approach to pandemic management and comes as a relief to passengers, as evidenced by the bustling activity at Beijing's Daxing International Airport on Thursday. (Camera: MARK R. CRISTINO).
