China expects tourism market to flourish in 2023 after end of zero-COVID policy

Beijing, Feb 22 (EFE/EPA).- Chinese government expects tourism market to flourish in 2023, with more and more travellers flocking to vacation destinations after the end of zero-COVID policy.

It is estimated that in 2023, the number of domestic tourists will be about 4.55 billion, a year-on-year increase of about 80 percent, and it will recover to about 76 percent of 2019. (Camera: WU HAO).
