China enacts law to strengthen Communist Party control over govt.

Beijing, Mar 11 (EFE/EPA).- China approved a law on Monday forcing the government to follow the leadership and instructions of the ruling Chinese Communist Party.

Some 2,883 delegates of the parliament approved the Organic Law of the State Council reform, with eight votes against and nine abstentions on the last day of the National People’s Congress, the most important political event in the country. (Camera: WU HAO).
