Chile seeks to lead “from an ethical standpoint” in AI policies in the region, says minister

Santiago de Chile, Jul 24 (EFE) - The Chilean Minister of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation, Aysén Etcheverry, said Wednesday that the southern country seeks to be a “leader” in the use and regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the region, but “with the awareness of the importance of ethics” in the application of this new technology.
