Child poverty in Afghanistan reaches alarming levels with 15.5 million children affected

Deh Sabz (Afghanistan), October 23 (EFE).- A report by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) reveals that there are approximately five million more children living in poverty in Afghanistan than adults, and that children make up 58.9% of the country's poor population.
