Chacaltaya, from thaw to global climate change station in Bolivian Andes

Chacaltaya (Bolivia), Oct 20 (EFE) - (Camera: Yolanda Salazar) Chacaltaya, a Bolivian mountain located in the Andes at more than 5,400 metres above sea level, has gone from being one of the victims of the melting ice to a global benchmark for measuring the impact of climate change.
