Ceuta, Melilla borders mark 4 years since coronavirus closure

Melilla, Mar 13 (EFE) (Camera: Paqui Sánchez) - The image of the closure of the land borders of Melilla and Ceuta in the early morning of March 13, 2020, was one of the first that confirmed the closure that the coronavirus pandemic was going to mean worldwide. This Wednesday marks the fourth anniversary of that measure which, although partially reversed 795 days later, marked a turning point in the border relations between Spain and Morocco.
