Puebla, Apr 7 (EFE).- On Friday, thousands of worshippers took to the streets of the central Mexican state of Puebla to participate in the procession of silence, considered the largest of its kind in Latin America, as part of Holy Week activities in the region. The event aims to strengthen the participants' faith in God.Each year, the procession attracts over 125,000 Catholics, who gather in the streets of Puebla's capital to venerate the seven most visited images from the city's temples. These revered figures include Our Lady of Sorrows, Our Lady of Solitude, Jesus the Nazarene, the Lord of Wonders, the Lord of Mercy, the Child Doctor, and the Lord of Analco.
