Catalan scientists to live for two weeks in same extreme conditions as life on Mars

Barcelona, Apr 12 (EFE) - (Camera: EFE) Nine Catalan women researchers of different disciplines and ages have been selected to live for two weeks at the Mars Research Desert Station (MDRS), a centre set up in the desert of Utah (USA) that simulates living conditions on Mars.

The nine women have spent two years preparing for isolation and enduring the same extreme conditions they would experience on the Red Planet.
