Carl Langebaek: "The Spanish Conquest is surrounded by myths"

Bogotá, Apr 28 (EFE).- The history of the Conquest of America is full of myths and grays, such as that it was a confrontation of two cultures, that the Spanish armies were full of convicts or that the Indians were backward people, incapable of adapting to change, says Colombian anthropologist Carl Henrik Langebaek.
