STATEMENTS OF CAMILA FERNÁNDEZ, MEXICAN ARTIST.

It was very natural, everything that has happened to us, in fact, has been very nice, very natural and I am grateful to all my work team, to the people who have reacted very nicely, with all the work we have put in with the producers, with the video directors, with absolutely all the businessmen and those who have hired me, with the people and the response of the people, because without them the truth is that I would not be here talking to you.

Nobody expected it, I mean, my dad also found out afterwards. Nobody expected that I was going to sing mariachi and close Corona Capital with a mariachi show after The Strokes on the mainstage, my dad just thought I was going to sing pop. Because he knew I was going to sing at the Corona Capital closing and he congratulated me like a night before or something like that, he told me "my life, have a great time". And when the videos came out, it was incredible that night, and they sent them to him because I sang his covers because I still didn't have any songs of my own at that time. He calls me the day after the Corona Capital and tells me: "Camila, this is what you had to do, I don't understand why you don't record a mariachi album". Well, because I was taught all my life, I've been in my career for 8 years, that I had to make my own way.
