US calls for fossil fuel phase-out in energy sector

Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Dec 6 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Ali Haider) US Special Envoy for Climate Change John Kerry said on Wednesday that his country advocates phasing out fossil fuels from its energy system to reach the goal of net zero emissions by 2050, as well as tripling renewable capacity and doubling energy efficiency by 2030 as part of its climate strategy.
