Buildings in Kolkata are painted in the colors of the Indian flag

Calcutta (India), Aug 14 (EFE), (Camera: Piyal Adhikary).- Several buildings in the Indian city of Calcutta were illuminated tonight with the colors of the Indian flag on the occasion of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the independence of this country.

India declared independence from British colonialism on August 15, 1947 and celebrates its 75th independence day on August 15, 2022.
